How We Verify Our Teachers
Every teacher at QuranHeaven undergoes a rigorous multi-stage verification process before they are approved to teach. Here is exactly how it works.
Not everyone who wears a turban can teach Quran. Not every Hafiz can teach effectively online. Our verification process ensures every teacher meets our standards in scholarship, teaching ability, character, and technical competence.
Ijazah Verification
Every teacher must present their Ijazah certificate with a complete sanad (chain of narration). We verify this chain by contacting the teacher's known teachers or recognized Islamic institutions. We do not accept "certificates" from unknown or unverifiable sources. The chain must connect back to a recognized scholar in the unbroken lineage of Quran transmission.
Recitation Assessment (Tajweed Test)
Each teacher recites from multiple Surahs in front of our senior instructor (Sheikh Abdullah). Their Makharij, Sifaat, and application of Tajweed rules are evaluated in detail. Any significant errors or weaknesses disqualify the candidate regardless of their paper credentials.
Teaching Demonstration
The candidate teaches a mock lesson to one of our evaluators. We assess their ability to explain concepts clearly, correct mistakes gently, manage the online classroom, and maintain student engagement. A Hafiz who cannot teach effectively is not qualified to teach.
Background Check & Reference Verification
We conduct thorough background checks including identity verification, criminal record check, and professional reference verification. We also require two references from known Islamic scholars or institutions that can vouch for the teacher's character and Islamic conduct.
Probation Period (First 30 Days)
New teachers teach under supervision for their first 30 days. Student feedback is collected after every session. Any quality or professionalism issues are addressed immediately. Teachers who do not meet our standards are not retained beyond the probation period.
Ongoing Quality Monitoring
All teachers are evaluated monthly through random class observations, student satisfaction surveys, and progress data analysis. Teachers receive continuous professional development training in both Islamic pedagogy and online teaching techniques.
π Our Commitment
We will never hire a teacher whose Ijazah we cannot verify. We will never prioritize cost over quality. Every teacher at QuranHeaven has passed all six stages of this process. If you ever have concerns about your teacher, we will investigate immediately and reassign you if needed β no questions asked.
