Terms of Service

Last Updated: April 13, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of QuranHeaven's website and services. By accessing our website, enrolling in a course, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Description of Services

QuranHeaven provides online 1-on-1 Quran, Tajweed, Hifz, Islamic studies, and Arabic language classes delivered via live video conferencing (Zoom, Google Meet, or Skype). Classes are conducted by certified Ijazah-certified teachers holding Ijazah or other recognized qualifications.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services with reasonable notice to enrolled students.

2. Eligibility & Enrollment

By enrolling, you represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age, or if enrolling a minor, you are the parent or legal guardian
  • All information you provide during enrollment is accurate and complete
  • You will maintain the confidentiality of your account and session links
  • You will not share class access with unauthorized individuals

We reserve the right to refuse service to any person for any lawful reason, including but not limited to violation of these terms, disruptive behavior, or non-payment.

3. Free Trial

We offer a free trial class to prospective students. The free trial is a single 30-minute session. No payment information is required. The trial is offered at our discretion and may be limited to one per student. We reserve the right to withdraw the free trial offer at any time.

4. Payment Terms

Subscription Model: Our services operate on a month-to-month subscription basis. Fees are billed monthly in advance based on your selected package (number of sessions per week).

Payment Methods: We accept major credit/debit cards and PayPal. Payment is processed securely through third-party processors.

Late Payment: If payment is not received within 7 days of the due date, classes may be suspended until payment is made. Continued non-payment may result in account termination.

Price Changes: We may adjust pricing with 30 days' written notice. Current pricing is always available on our packages page.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied within the first 7 days of your paid subscription, you may request a full refund β€” no questions asked.

After 7 Days: Refunds are not issued for partial months. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and classes will continue until the end of the paid billing period.

Teacher Change: If you are unsatisfied with your assigned teacher, we will arrange a replacement at no cost. Refunds are not provided for teacher preference issues until the replacement option has been exhausted.

Technical Issues: If a class cannot be conducted due to a technical issue on our end (teacher connectivity, platform failure), we will reschedule at no charge. If the issue is on your end, the session counts as attended.

6. Scheduling & Attendance

Scheduling: Classes are scheduled at mutually agreed times. Once a recurring schedule is set, classes occur at the same time each week unless both parties agree to a change.

Cancellation: You may cancel a scheduled class with at least 12 hours' notice. Classes cancelled with less than 12 hours' notice will be counted as attended. This policy ensures Ijazah-certified teachers are fairly compensated for their reserved time.

Teacher Cancellation: If a teacher cancels a session, the session will be rescheduled at no charge, or a credit will be applied to your account.

No-Show: If a student does not attend a scheduled class without prior notice, the session is forfeited and counted as completed.

7. Code of Conduct

All students and parents agree to:

  • Treat Ijazah-certified teachers with respect and courtesy at all times
  • Maintain appropriate dress and behavior during online classes
  • Provide a quiet, appropriate learning environment
  • Not record or distribute class sessions without explicit permission
  • Not engage in abusive, discriminatory, or harassing behavior toward Ijazah-certified teachers or staff

Violation of this code may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All content provided during classes, including lesson plans, worksheets, recordings (if provided), and teaching materials, are the intellectual property of QuranHeaven and are for personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell any materials without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

QuranHeaven shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of learning progress, or interruption of service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive for the highest quality instruction, we do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or completion timelines. Progress depends on multiple factors including student effort, practice consistency, and individual aptitude.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Violation of the Code of Conduct
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Behavior that disrupts our operations or harms other students or staff

In case of termination for cause, no refund will be issued for remaining sessions in the billing period.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active students and through a notice on our website. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to changes, you may cancel your subscription.
